Publix app good for
Im not sure what people are going through with this app but it is working perfectly fine for me. I have my preferred store location, my coupons, and use them just fine. Just sign up and everything should run throughly.
I think the app is great. I love being able to look at the ad every week and add the items to a list. Sometimes it does make me re-sign in which is very annoying when Im in the store.
I have not experienced the issues other have had with being kicked off the app while using. I really like being able to use the weekly adds to build my shopping list! Only reason not five star is it is not the most intuitive app. There are features I am discovering that I wish I could get some directions for usage...for instance: while building shopping list placing items in a category. Also, I cant figure out how to save a list from a particular day and re-use it. Even with mild frustrations - really good app!

Unlike the Winn Dixie app, you dont have to register in order to use it :)
One of the most useful features for me is the Organics/All natural category, since thats mostly what I shop for. Winn Dixies app is missing this too.
Some bad moments
Latest update removed the ability to scan prescriptions and submit them. Once entered and submitted, the screen locks on "Submitting." It never actually does it and you have to delete the ap to stop it. Very sad. We have an expression that should heeded by programmers, "If it aint broke, dont fix it!"
The only thing that has changed is that I updated to iOS 10.0.2, but that apparently broke the ability to request prescription refills. The Publix website doesnt allow you to choose "ASAP" like the app does. Ill just order online a day early until this gets fixed, but this was a major convenience to be able to go to the app, tap on Pharmacy, then tap on "Scan Refill", and request the prescriptions be ready ASAP. I hope this gets fixed. They havent updated the app since iOS 10 was released, so I guess Ill just hope they update the app soon and that will fix the issue with prescriptions.
The app keep crashes on the new iOS. I love Publix, Publix gets a 5 star, but your app need major improvement. Please fix the stability of the app.
It freezes, I cant add items to the shopping lists. Please fix it
Update broke prescription refill. This has not worked for weeks.
Since the last OS update, the pharmacy refill has stopped working. Since this is the primary reason for me to use the app, it has become useless. Refills on line do not allow ASAP choice, which makes this rather less than useful as well.
